OCC SUMMER CHALLENGE #5

Our fifth summer challenge will be held on-line (via WebEx) on Tuesday, September 8th. 

For this challenge, OCC club members are invited to submit up to 3 images to be critiqued by the participants. You may submit more than one image to a theme, but the total number of images submitted to the challenge must not exceed 3. 

Deadline for submission is midnight Sat. Sept. 5th! 

Images must be submitted to as jpg attachments (minimum size 1 mb), following the naming protocol for all club challenges (Title_Author.jpg) to:  challenges@oakvillecameraclub.com

The themes for this challenge are:

1.  Still Life Photography: Create a simple composition of inanimate natural or man-made objects.

2. Exploration Category: Extend yourself.  Try something entirely original to you - a new technique or style, a different genre of photography, etc.

3. Open Category: submit an image you would like to have critiqued by the group.

Our third summer challenge which will be held on-line (via WebEx) on Monday, August 10.  For this challenge, OCC club members are invited to submit up to 3 images to be critiqued by the participants. 

The themes for this challenge are:

1.  Street Documentary Image in B&W - Image should tell a story.

2. Macro photography - Flower or Insect

3. Open category: submit an image you would like to have critiqued by the group.

You may submit more than one image to a theme, but the total number of images submitted to the challenge must not exceed 3. 

Images must be submitted by midnight August 8 to robin@imaginacorporation.com.

Our second summer challenge will look at photography of smoke and bubbles.  Robin will give a short introductory presentation on bubble photography which will feature some of his work.

OCC members are invited to submit for open critiquing 1 image on their own smoke or bubble photography.  Images must be submitted to challenges@oakvillecameraclub.com by midnight, July 25.

 

Members will be provided with instructions for how to dial into this online WebEx meeting.
