Neil Ta is a Toronto-based wedding and commercial photographer. His personal work has touched upon the exploration of the built environment, making use of unseen and unused space in a way that presents the familiar in a new light. His current long-term project is focused on those living in the Alexandra Park neighbourhood of Toronto, an area undergoing gentrification over the next decade. Rather than restricting the genres of photography he shoots, he embraces the ‘cross-pollinationization’ of influences to create memorable work. His talk "From Good to Great" will give photographers of all levels and genre practical tips on taking their images to the next level.
