Join the OCC as we visit Lochland Botanicals for their 1st Annual Photographer Appreciation Day!

  • Picturesque family run farm nestled in Halton County approximate 40 minutes from Oakville
  • Dedicated to growing toxin free, artisanal herbal and flower products for culinary, cosmetic & aromatherapy uses

What can you shoot here?

  • Herbs
  • Flowers
  • Insects
  • Herons / Birds
  • Bees & Bee hives

Cost: $10 + a request for a social media post with their hashtag #lochlandbotanicals

Attendees can submit 1 photo which will be entered in their Annual Photo Contest

Closing Date: July 6, 2019 Winner to be chosen July 13, 2019

The winning photographer will become the Lochland Botanical 2019 Resident Photographer, with photographic privileges for the remainder of the 2019 season.

The winning photo will also be posted on all Lochland Botanical social media outlets giving credit to the photographer.

What to bring:

  • Sunscreen
  • Hat
  • Bug spray
  • Camera with spare batteries
  • Suggested lenses: Macro / 70-200mm / 24-70mm Lens
  • Tripod
  • Camping chair – although there are picnic tables
  • Sandwiches / snacks / Drinks – However, Lochland do sell delicious lemonade!
  • A smile!

Note: There are bees and beehives on the property for those allergic to bee stings

 Location: 2468 25 Side Road, Milton, ON

We will meet at the QEP at 7:30am and leave at 7:45am

Car pooling is available

Lochland also has parking for those that wish to drive direct or arrive a little later
