Capturing the Fascinating Unseen World All Around Us

Join the OCC as we welcome Club and Board member Jared Fein and his presentation on photomicroscopy.

There is so much in our immediate world that our eyes cannot see, but which can be revealed  and captured through photomicroscopy.  

By mounting a camera on a microscope, this amazing unseen world can provide countless opportunities to capture stunning images of things we mortals could otherwise not imagine.  

Tonight’s presentation will provide an introduction and overview of this area of photography, in which Jared will share a number of his images ranging from living microorganisms to other interesting everyday objects, then will dazzle you all with some of the best award winning photomicrographs from Nikon’s annual Small World photography competition.
