Monochrome photography is a style of photography that uses a single color or tones of a single color to create an image, so in monochrome photography, tones of a single colour are used to represent all the different colours within an image. While black and white photography is often called monochrome, this exploration specifically challenges the photographer to create images that use a single colour using a whole range of its saturation, shades and tones.Selecting a suitable subject is important with a good tonal range, good lighting and shadows and where possible strong shapes, patterns, textures, lines and angles.
