Exploration #22 “Exploration…Rocks!”
Tuesday November 8th – 7.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.
Deadline: November 6th at midnight.
Not just rocks - but stones, marble, minerals, granite, sand, quartz, jade, coal, and all manner of naturally occurring geological materials that may occur or have been remanufactured in any form. Geological artifacts are all around us, out there in natural world and in our home environment.
Use basic skills, techniques and ideas to interpret and visualize your selections - such as textures, complimentary and analogous colours, compositional styles, high-key, low-key, natural light, artificial light etc. and you can interpret “rocks” in all kinds of ways and create interesting and novel images.
Submit up to three images in either colour or black and white in .jpg format with your name first in the title. Please keep each file size to less than 5MB.
This meeting is open to non-members.
